Terms of Service Use and Traffic Limitations
As provided in the General Terms and Conditions viewable in full in the Tariff Transparency section, WINDTRE reserves the right to suspend the service, in whole or in part, in the event of misuse or exceeding the reasonable limits of use indicated in the General Terms and Conditions.
The customer will be informed, with prior notice, of any suspension by a specific communication.

These reference limits are:

For all offers that include Voice and SMS
  • daily outgoing traffic per voice/SIM channel not exceeding 160 minutes and/or 200 SMS/MMS;
  • monthly outgoing traffic per voice/SIM channel not exceeding 1250 minutes and/or 2000 SMS/MMS;
  • daily/monthly outgoing traffic (minutes and/or SMS/MMS) per voice/SIM channel directed to other operators not exceeding 60% of the total outgoing traffic and in any case not exceeding 50% of the total vs mobile traffic;
  • daily/monthly outgoing traffic (minutes and/or SMS/MMS) per voice/SIM channel routed to a single mobile operator other than Wind Tre S.p.A. not exceeding 40% of the total outgoing traffic and in any case not exceeding 30% of the total traffic vs mobile;
  • daily/monthly outgoing (minutes and/or SMS/MMS) traffic (minutes and/or SMS/MMS) per voice/SIM channel routed to its own network of Wind Tre S.p.A. users is not more than 80% of the total outgoing traffic;
  • daily outgoing or incoming traffic aimed at self-charging exceeding two hours of conversation and 50 SMS or MMS; monthly non-EU roaming traffic (voice/data/SMS) not exceeding 20% of total monthly traffic;
  • daily/monthly outgoing traffic for international calls not exceeding 20% of total outgoing traffic;
  • non-EU roaming traffic in a number of days exceeding 31 (thirty-one) in a total period of 60 consecutive days.
 
For all offers that include unlimited Voice or SMS
For plans, options or promotions that provide for unlimited included voice and SMS/MMS traffic without minute or SMS/MMS thresholds, parameters 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 above do not apply and the use of the Service that complies with the following parameters (without prejudice to the absence of any automatism in the application of the precautions provided for their exceedance) is considered compliant:
  • total outgoing daily voice or sms traffic to other operators not exceeding 60% of total outgoing voice or sms traffic;
  • ratio between daily outgoing voice or sms traffic to other operators and incoming voice or sms traffic from other operators not exceeding 3 (three); without prejudice to the absence of any automatism in the application of the precautions provided for their exceedance.
 
For plans, options and/or promotions that provide for unlimited included data traffic, the use of the Service that complies with the following parameters is considered compliant (without prejudice to the absence of any automatism in the application of the precautions provided for their exceedance):
  • abnormal monthly traffic volumes and at least 5 times higher than the average consumption of customers with homogeneous or similar offers;
  • data traffic volumes greater for three consecutive months than the average monthly traffic volume of customers with homogeneous or similar offers
Please note that WINDTRE in the European Union, does not apply any limitations to the quality and performance of data and voice services, compared to what is offered to customers domestically. Actual performance depends on the quality and technical characteristics of the foreign network to which you are connected.

Please remember, when you are Roaming Abroad, to always put the international dialing code in front of the called number for both local and international calls.

VoLTE Technology Disclosure
To make VoLTE technology calls, your terminal must be compatible and the feature must be active on your SIM.

VoLTE functionality cannot be activated if the following services are active on your SIM: self-charging, VPN (Jambala) and Dual SIM. We recommend that before you leave, you contact customer service for more details about VoLTE Roaming service and its use in your destination country.

Information on the costs of Green Numbers and Value Added Services (VAS)
Please note that for calls made in Roaming in the European Union to numbers other than landline and mobile, a charge of 4€/minute is applied, with no connection charge. These numbers include Green Numbers and Value Added Services (VAS) also known as "content-based," are paid services that provide access to news, games, horoscope, ringtones, weather and other information.
